María Gómez García is a illustrator, graphic and visual arts designer, with over twenty years of experience, specializing in traditional and digital illustration as well as the management of graphic projects and printing processes. She has been developing artwork for different usages and materials such as chairs, wallpapers, doors, tables, textiles, among others, for clients based in Spain, Italy, Brazil and US.
Previously, she worked for companies and brands such as Le Lis Blanc in Brazil and ZARA in Spain. Her international experience includes collaborations as a visual coolhunter and in procurement in cities across different continents, including Milano, London, New York, Paris, São Paulo, Seoul, and Hong Kong. Her hand-drawn illustrations reflect her professional expertise, cosmopolitan outlook, and passion for art.
Trained in Fine Arts at University of the Basque Country (Bilbao, Spain), textile design at the Norwich University of the Arts (Norfolk, UK), and the University of Barcelona (Spain), and printing techniques, among other illustration techniques at renowned institutions such as Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design in London (UK) and University of the Arts (Philadelphia, US). She is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, and has an advanced level of Catalan. Her professional career has spanned in Spain, England, and Brazil.
